After OSusannah mentioned this the other day, I thought it would be fun to have another round of themed avatars. I know I'm not the only one out there with pictures of herself (or her dolls!) clad in the brown, green, or blue. In fact, some of you have specifically mentioned having photographic evidence of your days as a Girl Scout. So come on...I wanna see 'em! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Your picture and idea sounds/looks scrumptious and delicious! I have to contact my sister I get that picture of that 1961 Brownie. Your Brownie uniform is from about the mid-80's right?

Your uniform looks just like mine did! The uniform had already changed goodness knows how many times from that jumper when I was a Brownie, but I preferred wearing the older uniforms rather than the newer ones.
I got my 1st grade school picture taken in my Brownie uniform. No pictures because I don't have a scanner.

I only had the brownie sash, because we were pretty tight for money back then. I still have it, but no pictures of me in it!

On my agenda is to print up some fabric with the Brownie stripe pattern, but reduced to 25% scale, to make a proper blouse.

I only have time to post this. I could post one of myself but it wouldn't be until the summer because it's at home. But here is Susie Mae wearing my old junior vest.
I actually just found a picture of me at my Brownie investiture. I also have pictures of me in full Cadette/Senior uniform that I had to wear to fly to Germany- those awful awful A-line skirts. The new uniforms are much more pratical. We had to take off and arrive in full uniform- per wider op guidelines- but our leaders let us change into something else on the plan. Thank goodness- Washington DC to Frankfurt is a long flight for that uniform.
I also have the AGoT uniform.
Interesting fact- I earned all but like 7 of the patches in the junior handbook. This was both good and bad. I spent most of middle school grounded, so all I could do was work on patches.
